Welcoming ‘Asia’s Next Big Opportunity - Indonesia’ Co-creating TiE Indonesia Chapter


DENPASAR, - The TiE Indonesia Launch Ceremony held alongside with the Tri Hita Karana Dialogue ‘Building Indonesia’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystems with Global Connection’ bring together Tri Hita Karana Forum and United In Diversity Foundation network of alumni, partners, government officials, venture capitalists, and the startup community to co-create a strategic roadmap for entrepreneurship and investor ecosystem with TiE Indonesia Chapter.

The dialogue will feature discussions on bridging MSMEs financing gap, capacity building, innovative policy for cluster ecosystem, inclusive paradigm for women and vulnerable communities, and developing future knowledge edge.

The TiE Indonesia Launch Ceremony came at the heel of the TiE Global Summit held in partnership with the Singapore Fintech Festival that was just completed in Singapore, and attended by over 62,000 participants from 134 countries, including Nadiem Makarim, Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. 

TiE Indonesia chapter is honoured to have Minister Nadiem himself who was a highly successful entrepreneur having co-founded Indonesia’s first unicorn and decacorn Gojek, as the Honorary Patron of TiE Indonesia Chapter. 

The Co Chairs are United In Diversity Foundation  President Ambassador Tantowi Yahya and TiE Global Trustee Amit Gupta.

The TiE Indonesia Launch Ceremony and Tri Hita Karana Dialogue is honoured to have the presence of Amalia Adininggar Widyasan, Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs, Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Mari Pangestu Presidential Envoy of G20 Bali Global Blended Finance Alliance, and I Gede Arya Sugiartha, Head of the Bali Province Cultural Service, Bali Provincial Government, along with Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of National Development & Planning, Ministry of Communication and Informatics, Coordinating Ministry of Maritime and Investment, along with leading Universities faculty from MIT, Tsinghua, venture capitalists and others from the entrepreneurial community.

With the mission to foster entrepreneurship as a force for good and growth, TiE Indonesia Chapter with TiE Global will provide the support system to nurture Indonesia startup and MSMEs with a ‘Better Business Better World’ motto. 

The United In Diversity Bali Campus will be the hub for TiE Indonesia Chapter alongside UN global initiative Sustainable Development Solutions Network Southeast Asia, Tsinghua Southeast and Rocky Mountain Institute Southeast Asia centres.
